Life is Good

Wow, it has been a while. Summer was wonderful. June in India, July and August in the ADKs teaching sailing to my amazing little kids. I miss them so much. The really annoying kids finally got too old to be in sailing clinic, so all we had this year were the adorable amazing enthusiastic kids. Now I'm back at school and it is amazing. I forgot how much can happen in a week though. I've been here for about a week and a half and already so much has happened. Our group dynamics have changed drastically due to break-ups and new relationships among the Norris crowd. Our quad has spent some quality bonding time. We have adopted Henry's girlfriend Hailey and Pat's new girlfriend into our quad as new honorary members. Our quad now consists of 11 or 12 people now, but it is wonderful. We had girl's night on Saturday and now we all know everything about everyone. The boys complained that they were bored because we wouldn't let them come to our party :) I spent Sunday with the India gang watching Moulin Rouge in Mike's amazing pillow nest to cheer me up. I love those boys. I came home to 40 people in my quad who I didn't know. Apparently all of the compound came back up with Sally and Kendra brought all of Paulie, so we had a party. Apparently it was really successful even though all we provided was chips and salsa. Oh well. No school Monday, so Kendra and Tess and I had a library party, followed by a "work" in the quad party which turned into a people watching party. All in all it was an amazing weekend. Just such a good vibe to the weekend. All I can hope is the whole year will be like this. Our quad is amazing. Tonight the craziness officially starts up again though. ASMing for one of the mainstages again. Little Eyolf. Only the most depressing show ever, but I'm excited to get into theater again. As much as I love my quad it makes me appreciate it more when I'm not around as much. Now off to read about genocide. It's amazing how great of a mood I've been in recently considering I've spent the past few days reading Little Eyolf and books about Genocide. I'm not complaining though :)
